Inserting public art in the community is an infusion to the quality of life.

 The ART WLK was made possible by a collaboration of community leaders who believe in art and creativity as an important component to life. We have amazing curators for this effort, Talkingwalls.art and the Jasper County Tourism Commission.

The public art you see while visiting Rensselaer, Remington, DeMotte, and soon to be Wheatfield is a combination of professional and amateur artistry that is comprised of some of the best street artists in the world to teenagers who made their first stencil and bought their first can of spray from a big box store. Either way, street art is an expression of creativity and voice; both of which we hold in high regards.
